This is how Black Women Empowerment starts

This photo was taken by Alex. The other one was taken by Sandra. The women that many times inspired me to keep doing what I do. So here’s to you Sandra and all the black girls.
Here’s to a Moment where I felt happy that I started my blog and my journey as an influencer.

This is how Black Women Empowerment starts

- It starts in a single moment. Whether we are solo, accompanied or speaking to a big crowd. We are always representing. We are building a legacy. Every single day, non-stop.

                                                                                                                               - Maria

It takes a moment to make a decision that will be life changing. But sometimes we take so long to get the courage to do so - even though we know it will be a positive and lifelong  change that we end up feeling  really tormented or frustrated with ourselves.  So, if you allow me... I'm here to give you a hand. .

I'm here to make presence and support you whether you're ready to make a decision or not. And , also, I’m here to bring some words of motivation.

I’m here to say that..

It will take you a single moment to drift away from your experiences with discrimination and enjoy yourself, enjoy your skin, your black womanhood, your hair and the way it enables you to be versatile and stand out.

If you feel like going natural go for it. If you want to show them that you can be a black women with kinky hair and work behind a desk do it! If you want to tell your boss that your don’t feel like wearing a hat because it will ruin your hairstyle then just go for it.

We need you. We need you to take that moment and be strong for all of us.

It takes a single moment for you to decide and spend the next few hours hidrating your hair, exfoliating your skin while dancing and singing your favourite song . - With clothes on or naked. You choose. ( It’s so freeing! You girls have no idea) .

It takes a moment  to compliment your black sister and give her the praise that she deserves.

It takes a moment to call that same friend and talk to her about your experiences as a black women. - For real, we have no idea on how we inspire each other until we do. Just talk. Sharing is caring.

Just a moment. Just a few minutes. Nothing more. Give, give and give .

It takes a moment for you to look into yourself in the mirror and just see how beautiful you are. - Without giving opportunity for any sort of comparison to dig into your brain. - Just you and your naked self. With your perfect imperfections.

It takes a moment for you to catwalk and slay like you and all women deserve to. No matter what people might tell you. We own it.

Marias.

It takes a simple moment to build this collection of moments. These moments that will inspire and lift up the generation of black girls that will come after us. It takes only a moment for them to look at us and feel our fierceness, freedom and eagerness to continue on embrancing our African Roots.

Every time you step out , there is at least a moment where a little black girl is rating at you and longing to be like you.

Every single time.

You might not see it. But they do. And they have to.

Because we need to raise our girls to fight harder then we are fighting and to make us proud and happy that we took a moment to leave our comfort zone and raise our fists in the name of our race.

I love you ,

Maria.
